July 4 Independence Day Festivities
Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?)They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July!
Please leave fireworks at home. No fires, fireworks or alcohol on beach.

Sand Sculpture Contest 5am-8am by the pier
Parade 10am, Ocean Ave
BBQ/food 11am-3pm, Vet’s Hall 
Beach Games 1pm, south side of the pier
Bingo 1pm-4pm, Vet’s Hall 
Fireworks 9pm, from the Cayucos Pier
