Jeanette Willems is no stranger to hard work having been employed since the age of 13 at a variety of jobs.  After graduating from Fresno State College with a major in Industrial Technology she was offered a position with Hughes Aircraft Company, which she turned down.  Jeanette had fallen in love and decided to remain locally.

Jeanette was working as a claims adjuster in Fresno & Hanford when her State Farm agent asked her to consider working with State Farm as an Agent. The past jobs and education gave her a solid foundation in knowing the needs of different types of business. Jeanette had always wanted a business of her own and took the plunge and has been in business for the past 26 years.

Jeanette reaches out to her community by volunteering to read to children and as a tutor at a local elementary school.  She said she really loves to see the moment when the child really “gets it” and understands how to read.  She also sponsors local high school sports.   The State Farm website offers a great place to start if you are interested in volunteering in your neighborhood.  It is called “Get Involved”.

Jeanette’s motto is Service! Service! Service!  The office is comprised of herself and two full time bi-lingual licensed agents.  Both are long time employees who are knowledgeable and ready to help you when you call.  As Jeanette said, “We consider our clients family, and want to give you the best service possible”.  Jeanette’s team can service you with Home, Auto, Life, Fire, Renters, Business insurance and more.   State Farm Bank is an FDIC insured bank where you can manage funds online, while using universal ATM’s, and State Farm will reimburse the ATM fees.  They also offer home and auto loans with very competitive interest rates.  The office also offers notary services, which is usually free of charge to her clients.

Although Jeanette is a State Farm Agent who owns her business, State Farm makes the decisions about rules and rates.  She is not in control over what State Farm allows, disallows or charges, however, she is eager to educate her clients and help them make the most informed decisions about their insurance.  Still,  some people are going to the online insurance companies because of cheaper rates.  Jeanette said, “Sometimes people leave because they find cheaper rates elsewhere.  Many times, they return to us because when they run into trouble, they want a real human to talk to or because they find out they didn’t have enough coverage.  Jeanette said, “At State Farm, we can be contacted online, by email, Facebook, our pocket app, phone, or they can come into our brick and mortar office”.

Jeanette Willems State Farm Agency was voted by the Reedley Exponent as the Best Insurance Agency in Reedley and Best Insurance Agent in Reedley, for the year of 2017, and received the Reedley Exponent Reader’s Choice Award for 2016.

On a Personal Note

My husband and I have been with State Farm for our home and auto insurance for 28 years and we have always been happy with the service we have received.  I’ve known Jeanette as a little more than an agent and can attest to the fact that she is a genuine person who will do what she says she will do.  She doesn’t make promises she won’t keep, she is dependable, professional, and a woman of integrity.
