There are a lot of fun things to do in Visalia…
Visalia Sports Park
Located on Highway 63, on the north side of Visalia
If you haven’t been there, it is a great place to spend time with the kids. Three play structures and a dancing waters feature will keep your kiddos busy for hours.
Mooney’s Grove
Located on the south end of Visalia on Mooney Blvd.
The historical museum includes a Victorian style house, an original school house, many other buildings such as a blacksmith shop, newspaper, and many, many other buildings and features.
The newest addition is their History of Farm Labor and Agriculture Museum.
Ths museum shows how imigrant farmworkers experienced life in Tulare County.
Play structures are scattered throughout the park. Lots of places to have picnics and barbecues.
There are peacocks roaming free but they mostly stay on the south end of the park. You have to go over the bridge to find them. If you continue to the end of the road on the south end, you will arrive at the End of the Trail Statue. It is an impressive site with a pond around the bottom and places to sit and admire it.
There is a large pond and geese you can feed if you are feeling adventurous. They are a bit aggressive sometimes.
